Summary
As a video production company, our creative vision for this project was to craft an enigmatic narrative centered around a character involved in nefarious activities, interwoven with a love triangle. Inspired by the real-life Porfirio Rubirosa, the inspiration behind the character ofJames Bond, we aimed to reference and embody the essence of this figure through compelling scenes.
Immersing ourselves in the 1970s era, our production unfolded over two shooting days, with one day dedicated to capturing the ambiance of a 70’s-inspired home – an architectural and design element integral to the overall look and feel. Featuring a 1974 Fiat Spider in key scenes, including a countryside montage shot entirely on green screen. On-camera filters were strategically employed to diffuse highlights, evoking the aesthetic of older cinema, complemented by a 4:3 aspect ratio.
In post-production, our video editors and visual effects artists seamlessly replaced the green screen backdrop with images of the countryside, embracing the charm of spliced film. A unique element involved the creation of a bobblehead inside the car, showcasing our agency talent in creating personalized touches. The color grading process played a pivotal role, transporting the narrative back in time by diffusing highlights and infusing film-like tones into the imagery. To add a touch of authenticity, we gave the color grade a 35 mm film texture.
Our meticulous attention to detail, from the choice of emulating old film cameras to extensive location scouting, reflects the expertise of our film producers and production house in bringing this cinematic vision to life.
